Evil Dead movies in order

There are six Evil Dead films and one series, in two continuities. The original trilogy (1981–1993) and the Ash vs Evil Dead series follow Ash Williams and should be watched in release order. Evil Dead (2013), Evil Dead Rise (2023) and Evil Dead Burn (2026) are standalone films with new characters each time; they do not need the originals, and release order is the recommended watch across all seven entries. Evil Dead Wrath, a prequel to the 1981 film set in 1972, is due in April 2028.
