Resident Evil movies in order

There are eight live-action Resident Evil films and one series, spread over three separate continuities. The six Milla Jovovich films (2002 to 2017) form one story and work in release order, which is also their story order. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021) is a reboot set in 1998 that stands alone, the Netflix series (2022) is set in its own universe, and Resident Evil (2026) is a second reboot. Watch the six Jovovich films in release order; the other three entries are separate from them and optional.
